What we collect

You don't need an account to practice. Your quiz progress, answers and best scores are stored only in your browser's local storage on your device. We don't receive them.

Payments

If you buy the Pass Pack, checkout is handled by Polar (polar.sh) as merchant of record. Polar processes your payment details and email under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of the purchase, not your card details.

If you buy the Pass Pack

We store the buyer's email, the Polar order id, the 18+/parent-guardian confirmation and, if you sign in to sync, your study progress (scores, topic accuracy, mistake list, study time) so it works across your devices. AI tutor messages are sent to OpenAI to generate answers; we keep usage counts and cached general explanations, not your chat history.

Server logs

Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting, retained for a limited period.

Analytics and cookies

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, how you arrived). It sets first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* and sends this usage data to Google. We do not send your quiz answers, email or payment details to Google Analytics. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Google AdSense. We show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies (for example the DoubleClick cookie) and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, to limit how often you see an ad and to measure ad performance. You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of many third-party vendors' personalized advertising at aboutads.info (or youronlinechoices.eu in Europe). You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the practice tests keep working without them.

Children

Many of our visitors are teens studying for a permit. The free practice tests and road signs quiz need no account and no personal information. We do not offer accounts to, and do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under 13. Purchases are made only by adults 18+ (a parent or guardian buys for a learner under 18), so any purchase or sign-in email belongs to the adult buyer. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
